“When your kidneys fail, treatment is needed to replace the work your own kidneys can no longer do.  There are two types of treatment for kidney failure: dialysis or transplant. Many people feel that a kidney transplant offers more freedom and a better quality of life than dialysis.  In making a decision about whether this is the best treatment for you, you may find it helpful to talk to people who already have a kidney transplant. 1. I was on dialysis for 4 years. I had 1 day out of the week that was a good day. I wanted a kidney transplant. In October 28th, 20. I had my transplant from a living kidney donor. I felt so blessed. After I cam home from my surgery. I found myself in the hospital 3 more times. My kidney was good. My body had problems. I have my life and great days. More good then bad days. I have to say for myself. This was the best decision I had made for myself. I have a future now. I am not just waiting for the grave. We are waiting for my husband to retire. Then we are going to travel. This choice is yours only. This worked great for myself. Love in Christ
